We loved our stay at the Cahergal Farm House B&B. The view from the back patio is beautiful--fields crossed by rock walls, sheep in the distance, cows walking by, and a two day old foal in the field. The hostess was gracious and engaging. The house and guest rooms and sitting rooms are lovely. Caheregal is a very short drive to Shannon Airport which makes an early morning flight very easy to catch. All this and a very good breakfast make the Cahergal Farm an excellent choice. We hope to visit again.

We loved our stay at Cahergal Farm House and wished only that it had been longer. The farmhouse is beautiful and tastefully decorated, with elegant shared spaces and spacious, comfortable bedrooms. Our hostess Noreen could not have been kinder or more gracious, insisting on serving our breakfast earlier than the usual starting time so that we wouldn't risk missing our flight home. Shannon Airport is a convenient 10-minute drive. The farmhouse opens on to a terrace and rose garden that overlooks a paddock where Noreen's thoroughbreds graze. Such a tranquil, lovely spot -- the perfect grace note to our Irish vacation. I can't recommend Cahergal Farm House highly enough.

I love B&B's that are rural and this one on a working farm was just perfect! Noreen was a fabulous host, that felt more like an instant friend. The whole place was very clean and cozy and the breakfast were made to order what you wanted. The breakfast area and lounge area are large and full of windows that let in the sun. The family who own Cahergal have an incredibly beautiful farm. The pictures cannot do it justice. The first morning we woke up to meet a 5 hour old foal! The food is homemade and delicious. You must try the scones. My regret is that we did not book more nights there. This would have been a perfect "slow down" beginning to our stay in Ireland. It is just minutes from Shannon Airport.

Since she was away for the afternoon, a more detailed brochure left in our bedroom would have been helpful.

We loved our experience at Cahergal so much! A night at this family farm was a perfect stop for us, between a night in Kenmare and a night in Galway. It was so close to the Cliffs of Moher!
